We're still here - just dormant for quite a while due to circumstances.
When Jo first created this site, she had a broken foot and was just goofing around but never stopped buying Longaberger stuff for herself...now she needs to downsize her inventory, so if you can help, please inquire - some prices may be negotiable. Jo still goes to work every day even though she doesn't move around as well as she once did. She had a hip replacement in 2004 and a broken ankle in February, 2007. She's still married to Harley (25 years as of May 21, 2007).
Joy has been battling cancer of one kind or another since 2002; most recently lung and brain cancer so please remember her with your thoughts and prayers - we always thought it would be breast cancer since that's what the women in our family get and Jo thought she would be the first because she's the oldest but...We're still avid supporters of the Horizon of Hope Campaign and hope Longaberger keeps it up for a long time. Joy's still married to Herbert (aka Bud or Buddy) - she got it right on #5.
Jan's still the glue that holds us all together, through good times and bad, she's always there, all the time, for all of us. And, she's still married to her 1st husband and only true love, Chester.
Just so you know a little bit about us, we're three sisters, Jo(laine), Joy(ce), Jan(et) and a sister-in-law, Helen. We call Helen the Half- because Certified Basket Cases Three (& a Half-) is funnier than Certified Basket Cases Three (& an in-law).

Helen buys baskets - or did for a while...anyone remember ever selling a J. W. Basket or 2 or 4 or more to Helen Ross? But she's very focused and knew what she wanted, bought it, and quit for a while. The rest of us just "piddle around" at it...we haven't decided what we want to be when we grow up. Actually, Jo’s the only one still piddling at it!
You won't find Helen on e-bay - because none of us had ever heard of the internet when Helen was buying her J. W. Collection! We thought she was talking about some kind of inner net you wear under your hair net you put on your head when you go to bed so you won't mess up your hair.
Helen's last name is really Rosinsky but every time she made reservations or placed an order or made appointments, it always took 40 days and 40 nights (Nope! That was the Flood!) it must have been 30 minutes or so for anyone to spell it right so she shortened it to Ross.
It was really the phone company's fault...Helen was trying to order a phone line to use for the internet and the lady at the phone company just said, why don't you change it to Ross, it's easier. So, she did. Then she told Jo about it and Jo's husband whose name is Harley decided to do the same thing. So now his last name is Ross, too. His middle name is Martin.
Some people call him Harley Rosinsky and some people call him Martin Rosinsky and some call him Harley Ross and some call him Martin Ross and some even call him Marty Ross. Harley's mother died before Jo met him but we think she probably - at least from time to time - called him, "HARLEY MARTIN ROSINSKY". Jo wishes people would call him HARLEY DAVIDSON so she could quit work and go spend his money. Jo's last name is Minton but since Harley's last name is Rosinsky some people call her Minton and some call her Rosinsky and some call her Ross. As for her first name, some people (mostly family) call her Jolaine, some call her Jo, some call her Jo Jo and some even call her Joie and now there's one who calls her Josie!!
Joy's last name is Gray. That's our (3 sisters) maiden name and Joy's been married so many times, she never can remember her husband's last name so, if she can't, we certainly can't. After the first 2 or 3 husbands, she just went back to her maiden name and it's been that way ever since.
UPDATE: Joy recently changed her last name to Rogers (that's her current Bud's last name!)!
Remember, we think he's #5, but we're not sure. We're not even sure she's sure.
She had Ben(jamin), Bob (Robert), Curt(is), Ken(neth) and now Herb(ert). Some time ago, we just started calling her current husband Bud (in the South if you say, Hey Bud, just about any man will answer)...that way, we don't accidentally call him by the wrong name. So, if we accidentally call her Gray instead of Rogers, please forgive us - it's really hard keeping track of her names.
Jan's last name is Perkins and bless her heart, she's the cutest and sweetest one of all and is still married to her very first, one and only husband, Ches(ter). They collect Cats and Longaberger Baskets and now, DOGS too!

When Jo created this web site, she had a broken foot and couldn't do much but dabble with the computer, and anyway, she was planning to retire in 2 years, which she did, but didn't like it so she went back to work after about 5 weeks of wondering what to do with the rest of her life.
We're not stupid or ignorant (well, there's Jo - she likes to work). We just talk funny, being from the South. We don't think we talk funny but lots of people tell us we do.
